Apologies for cross postings Dear colleagues, The e-CLAT research network is proud to announce an international conference on Climate Change and Tourism. It will be held 11-14 June 2006 in The Netherlands. The theme of the conference is 'climate change mitigation'. We would like to invite researchers and representatives of involved tourism and transport industry and organisations to submit abstracts. The largest contribution of tourism to greenhouse gas emissions comes from (air) transport. Therefore papers not only researchers from disciplines in tourism management, but also from transport management and technology, economy, climate sciences and other related disciplines are welcomed to submit an abstract. The abstracts and final papers will be reviewed and finally published in a conference book. Please find information in the attached flyer. You may request application forms from the NHTV Conference Bureau or download them from www.cru.uea.ac.uk/tourism/ (deadline is 31-01-2006). We hope to meet you in June 2006 in The Netherlands! Yours Sincerely, Paul Peeters (Professor Sustainable Transport and Tourism) Further information can be obtained from www.cru.uea.ac.uk/tourism/ or the Organising committee via the NHTV Conference Bureau, P.O.
