Dear Colleague

We currently have a vacancy for a social scientist to organise and run
household economic surveys to determine sources of income for villages in
the buffer zone of the Cusuco National Park, Honduras (6th July to 24
August inclusive).

The primary objectives are to describe the economic reliance of each of the
communities on revenue generated through growing shade grown coffee, plus
the financial impact that establishing an enhanced price for the coffee in
exchange for conservation commitments would have on each of these
communities.

The successful applicant will additionally be responsible for supervising a
small number of dissertation students specialising in aspects of these
surveys. This is a voluntary post, however all food and accommodation costs
in Honduras will be covered by the project.

To apply please send a current CV plus covering letter to [log in to unmask]
