Hi all,

just a short remark to SPM5, which might be already mentioned, but which could be important in some cases:

The file selector of SPM5 sorts the files differently than spm_get or the older versions of SPM (at least when you run it under windows, I couldn't checked it under Linux, so far).
For example:

if you have files named like image1.img ... image100.img
the order in the file selector will be

image1.img
image10.img
image11.img
...
image100.img
image2.img
image20.img
...
image3.img
...

and so on.

while the old spm_get would have order them in the intended, numerical way, i.e. image1.img, image2.img, ...

So, be aware of that and use only filenames, which are having padded zeros in front of the labeling number, like image0001.img, etc.
Than you will not have that problem.

Perhaps, this might explain, why people get sometime different results between SPM5b and older SPM version.

Yours,

Karsten
