Dear SPM experts,

I have a few questions as regards DCM (and maybe PPI too) implemented in
SPM2.

First, is there any problem to use ER-fMRI design with only two conditions
(e.g. target and nontarget stimuli, we are interested in changes in
conectivity caused by target stimuli)? I know that 2x2 factorial design is
most recommended for DCM but, I think, it is not possible in our paradigm.

Second, is it better to use or not to use slice time correction when I do
data preprocessing (for subsequent DCM or PPI)? Slice timing correction
makes changes in time-series and we are not sure if it is profitable or non.

Third, is it possible to use DCM for models without sensory area? Then, is
there any problem to specify sensory input into the higher-level area?

Thanks,

 Michal Mikl
