Hi all,

 

I am trying to run SPM2 on a new computer in our lab.  Everything is installed and I am able to pull up the SPM GUI in Matlab by typing "spm" at the prompt.  However, I get errors when I try to go any further, by hitting either the fMRI or PET button, or if I try to access by typing "spm fmri," for example, at Matlab's command prompt.  The errors I am getting are:

 

Error in ==> C:\MATLAB6p5\toolbox\spm2\spm2\spm_figure.m

Error in ==> C:\MATLAB6p5\toolbox\spm2\spm2\spm_figure.m
On line 217  ==> spm_figure('CreateBar',F);

Error in ==> C:\MATLAB6p5\toolbox\spm2\spm2\spm.m
On line 453  ==> Fgraph = spm_figure('Create','Graphics','Graphics','off'); fprintf('.')

??? Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback.

 

I consulted the email list and tried switching our XP to display in Classic Windows mode, as is suggested on the list and has worked for people in the past, but this did not solve the problem I am having.  This new computer has a Pentium 4 processor, with 2 GB RAM, and running on Windows XP.  Any thoughts?
