Postdoctoral position at Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in a neuroscience related discipline such as neuropscyhology, neurobiology, or psychiatry. MD. or Ph.D. or Foreign equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuroimaging, substance abuse research, or other problem behaviors. Track record of publications and/or grant support. Knowledge of statistics and data analysis (knowledge of SPM, matlab, is preferred). Brief Description of Duties: * Research. * Data analysis and collection, plan and design experiments. * Report writing and presentation and/or publication. * All other research and lab related tasks as requested. Special Notes: This is a full time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
