I have had this error as well. This problem happens when you actually do not perform the normalise step within a basic preprocessing protocol. What you normally do is to write out coregister and reslice data into a .mat file per image, but without performing the actual reslicing of the image (for good reasons). Then, during normalisation, these parameters are taken into account and the resliced images are written. Therefore, without normalisation, your images have different orientations ans so on. If you wish to skip normalisation, reslice your images during the first steps. This gets rid of the error message. Kindly, Bernie Caessens Dept. of Exp.
