POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN:

 

The University of Michigan, Division of Kinesiology currently has a two year post-doctoral position available in the Neuromotor Behavior Laboratory. The post-doctoral researcher will study skill learning, transfer of learning, and aging, using both behavioral and brain imaging (fMRI) approaches.  Equipment used will include motion monitoring devices such as potentiometers, microswitches, and motion capture systems; 3.0T MRI scanner; and MATLAB, LabView, and / or E-Prime software.

 

The candidate will be expected to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, prepare manuscripts for publication, and participate at national level conferences. Necessary Qualifications: Ph.D. in motor control, psychology, neuroscience, or kinesiology.  Experience with human motor learning research, aging, and / or fMRI.  Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, and work well in a team setting. Desired Qualifications: Experience with SPM and / or computer programming a plus (MATLAB, LabView, and / or E-Prime).
