Education for Sustainable Development Conference: Graduates as Global Citizens Bournemouth University September 12th - 13th 2005 This two-day conference will stimulate and extend the debate about the role of Higher Education in preparing graduates for a world where sustainable development is critical. Professor Ron Barnett, Professor of Higher Education at the Institute of Education, University of London, and Dr Stephen Sterling, an independent consultant in environmental and sustainability education, and co-director of the Bureau for Environmental Education and Training (BEET), are the keynote speakers.
