The CreScENDO Project

 

CreScENDO aims to assist the organisation of, and build networks between, the stakeholders, experts and practitioners involved in the public engagement of science and engineering, and in related informal education.

 

Creative Science has been commissioned by NESTA to pilot a system of active and responsive networking that will link similar projects together.  CreScENDO will help to develop lateral networks between schemes, encourage useful evaluation to be shared among practitioners and policy makers, and shift the culture into one of mutual support.  In short, CreScENDO will help to avoid ‘reinventing the wheel’ and allow the science engagement communities to build capacity and improve performance.

 

In order to build a picture of how the science and engineering engagement community perceives itself and to set a baseline, I am asking all involved in UK science engagement to complete the questionnaire found at
