Subject: hello

Well, this is a bit awkward, after being off the list for months, so I'll
just say
hello to everyone, and that I'm glad to see you all still kicking around,
working
away, publishing books, and that I'll hope to catch up and meet everyone and

look forward to conversations.

The new issue of The Drunken Boat is online now, www.thedrunkenboat.com,
with our Latvian feature which has taken up a good deal of my time lately,
along
with learning diacritics, and spending most of October in Lithuania with a
week
in Riga to meet the writers and translators involved in the project. There's
also a
feature of The Imaginary Poets, an interview with Aliki Barnstone, and other

stuff.

Happy new year to everyone!

best,

Rebecca
