Tracey,
Many thanks. I will read and digest as they say. I am working on the 'Designing teaching to minimise' aspect myself but we are also in the process of putting together guidelines etc on the institutional policy side of things which I am sure we can laso share when they are done.

Hi Graham

I'm not quite sure what to send you... We have guidelines on academic
misconduct (which are quite heavy going, and the working group might
consider looking at how they are written - it will probably be quite a big
job to get them re-written and then approved). The link to those is:

http://www.sussex.ac.uk/academicoffice/1-4-1-4.html

Or - if you want to look at what the working group is doing, you could look
at our minutes & terms of reference:

http://www.sussex.ac.uk/Units/academic/academicoffice/committees/teqac/plagiarismwg.shtml

The other alternative is to look at the website (which offers 'bite size'
chunks of advice for different aspects of plagiarism (so - information for
international students, information on how to reference properly, advice
for staff on assessment mode design...). Link to the web site:

www.sussex.ac.uk/academicoffice/plagiarism

Finally - I've attached a couple of guides I've been sent from other
universities which might be more helpful for you.

Do keep in touch, as it would be useful to see what you come up with (when
we come to review our academic misconduct processes).

best wishes

Tracey
