QtsPlus4Calc is the OpenOffice verison of the Excel-based package QtsPlus

(http://www.geocities.com/qtsplus)

QtsPlus4Calc and QtsPlus are a collection of spreadsheets that solve a variety of queueing models.

QtsPlus4Calc is available under the open source software license Gnu Public License (GPL).

Volunteers are needed to help test the models.

Below is the release note for the Alpha3 release.

QtsPlus4Calc Release Alpha3

Purpose of this release:

To get feedback on installation procedures and usability of the models. Since OpenOffice is available for many platforms, e.g., Windows, Linux, Solaris, the QtsPlus4Calc project team is interested in experiences on the different platforms. New in this release:

Addition of 9 models. This brings to 21 of the 68 models from the Excel version of QtsPlus that are now available for OpenOffice Calc. The new models in this release are

D/M/1: Constant Input to Single Exponential Server

E(j)/M/1: Erlang(j) Input to Single Exponential Server

H/M/1: Hyperexponential Input, Single Exponential Server

G/M/1: General Input to Single Exponential Server

D/M/c: Constant Input, Multiple Exponential Servers

E(j)/M/c: Erlang(j) Input, Multiple Exponential Servers

H/M/c: Hyperexponential Input, Multiple Exponential Servers

G/M/c: General Arrival with Multiple Exponential Servers

Closed Jackson Networks: Buzen Alogorithm

The M/M/1 Transient Analysis model was removed due to an error uncovered in the Calc worksheet Besseli() function. This problem has been accepted by OOa as bug #43040. This model will be re-added once the Besseli() function has been fixed.
