Does anyone have a risk assessment for my zimmer frame (without bag holder at present)?

Hey, you got to laugh, no hard feelings I hope.

Car,

I had a bit of a chuckle and replied direct to Bob regarding this subject.  I stopped laughing when I saw the term 'antiquated.'

It was the 'antiquated' SRN nurses who fought long and hard to get nurse training upgraded to university level while doing their own training and working on the wards almost full time with study blocks in between.  It was probably an 'antiquated' SRN who held you and the rest for the first time.  Please don't knock us old fogies, we can still teach a few tricks to graduate masses.

Hello Bob,

As one of the dreaded "recent generation"  "P2000" RNs  I'd like to
point out that we do venture onto the wards occasionally during training
and have contact with patients and drug charts, and learn phrases like
"bd, tds, qds" and "od" so it's not just the old style antiquated SRN
training that taught such things  ;-)

Car :-D

Hi Tracey,

You are obviously from a recent nursing generation of RN's.

Those of us who trained as SRN's had to learn all the prescribing
abbreviations.  PRN is abbreviated Latin for: pro re nata (as the
situation demands; as needed).

Regards, Bob
