Caroline,

Earlier this year there was a CD given away free with OH journal. This had several ideas for health promotion activities specifically linked to healthy eating, but this was combined with healthy living - it was part of the W8 Wise @ Work project. You may find some of the stuff, including slide presentations, leaflets etc. useful. If you do not have the CD then contact me off list and I can email you the pdf files.

Is anyone got any good ideas for health at work initiatives, especially any colleagues who are university based? I'm working with the Sports and Recreation Management team to come up with some new ways of encouraging healthy behaviour. We already have some ideas such as 'no internal mail days' so everyone has to deliver their own mail around the university as well as general health promotion/ well worker activities but I'd be grateful for any ideas and just as importantly marketing strategies that would demonstrate the benefits of improving health at work to the senior management teams, e.g. impact of these types of intervention on levels of attendance etc
