Brief
description of the topic:
The aim of this special
issue (http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/S03.cws_home/cor7)
of Computers & Operations Research
is to collect original, high-quality submissions that address operations
research aspects of real-time supply chain management. The emphasis is on the
search for solutions by means of suitable models and computer-based decision
making methodologies and techniques. The problems can contain input data
depending explicitly on time (e.g. a dynamic environment) or data can be
revealed during the operational interval (e.g. a stochastic environment). In
such environments, data are known or are updated concurrently with the
generation of the solution. Topics of interest include all aspects and phases
of real-time supply chain management, such as:

Review Process
Each paper will be peer-reviewed in the same manner as for any
submission to a leading international journal. Quality and originality of the
contribution are the major acceptance criteria.
Submission Details
The deadline for submission is December
31, 2005. Early submission is encouraged. Manuscripts must be
written in English and should be submitted in pdf or ps format to [log in to unmask].
