Dear colleagues,

I was wondering whether you are aware of any initiatives at your own universities or departments towards open access self-archives (RoMEO/eprint). Apart from Bournemouth University, Southampton and Scottish universities (Scottish Open Access Declaration) I am not aware of any other projects. Leeds has one at a pilot stage together with Sheffield and York (http://sherpa.leeds.ac.uk/) but it generally seems that applied science colleagues are being more proactive in this area than we are.

It would be great if you could email me privately if you are using the scheme/s or your university is planning on using it (librarians would know). If the list is interested I could compile the answers and email them back.
