A one-day conference - Saturday 23rd April 2005, The University of Warwick, UK The University of Warwick's Humanities Research Centre presents the first major academic conference on DVD technology and its import for current media scholarship. The one-day event will offer a variety of perspectives from leading Film, TV and Media scholars, with input from DVD industry professionals. Papers cover a broad range of topics on the reception, production and construction of DVD texts. Keynote addresses from Professor John Caldwell (UCLA) and Assoc. Professor Barbara Klinger (Indiana).
