We have a
relatively small library (about 2200 books
and 90 journal titles) and are currently deciding what kind of automated library
management systems would be suitable for us. Ideally, it would take care
of ILLs (we get 200 request a month on average) as well as a general book and
journal collection. Do you have experience in choosing a LMS for a
small/specialist health library? What systems have you used before and
were they any good? Did you use it for ILLs as well? I was trying to find a
discussion list on LMS but had no luck.
I have just started to look into LMS so am still building up my knowledge on the topic. Any advice or sharing of past experience would be great and of course, gratefully received!
