Please see details of this temporary post below:- INFORMATION SKILLS LIBRARIAN (*) (REFERENCE: R842) EAST KENT COMMUNITY TRAINING ALLIANCE ST MARTIN’S HOSPITAL, CANTERBURY 37.5 Hours per week Part-Time/Job Share considered Salary: £21,549 - £25,212 per annum TEMPORARY FOR 6 MONTHS We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated librarian/information professional to offer training on searching health databases and the full range of National Core Content resources to NHS staff working in community and primary care in East Kent to support evidence-based practice. Offering one-to-one training in St Martin's Hospital Library will be the main task, but you would need a flexible attitude to hours of work and a willingness to train staff in their workplace, when required. You would be part of a small, but friendly and dedicated team and have some general library duties as well. You should have a first degree or postgraduate qualification in librarianship/information science and experience of database searching, ideally in a healthcare setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an organised and proactive approach to your work are essential
