Due to a very limited response for the above post, I am pleased to say that

acute Trust.  The successful applicant will manage the Patient Information
Resource Centre, which will be located right in the entrance hall of the new
hospital when it opens in 2006 and will be a major focal point for patients
and visitors to the Hospital.

PATIENT INFORMATION LIBRARIAN

Full Time £28,315 p.a. Ref: HM/MG757

 

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Patient Information
Librarian at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire, to establish a
comprehensive patient information service which meets the diverse needs and
expectations of our patients, their relatives and staff.

 

As this is a new initiative, you will be responsible for developing the
system for patient information in the Trust and ensuring its success.
Information provided must be of the highest quality and be evidence-based.
You will also project manage the implementation of the Patient Information
Resource Centre to be opened in the new hospital in Coventry in 2006.

 

You will hold a good honours degree in Library and Information Sciences or
an associated subject and also have relevant experience working in an NHS
environment. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, and be fully

competent in the use of key patient information resources.

The post will commence from July 2005.
