MSc in Health Informatics
 
This part-time distance learning programme provides an opportunity for
healthcare professionals, managers, librarians and IT professionals working within
healthcare, to develop key skills and knowledge in health informatics.
 
As well as the core modules below, students also take a specialist module
related to their own professional needs:
*           Information Management & Technology (IM&T) in Healthcare
*           Communications and Information Technology
*           Health Care Information and Evidence-Based Practice
*           Change Management and IM&T
*           Research Methods and IM&T
 
The programme may be studied over one (PGCertificate), two (PGDiploma) or
three (MSc) years and is open to graduates in medicine, health, science or
technology and non-graduates. Applicants will typically have a minimum of
two years' previous relevant work experience although complementary
strengths will also be considered.
