If they insist on using IP address as the verification (rather than
password) then it's NHS NET that causes the problem - IP addresses wander
throughout NHS NET & the IP address attached to your computer this week
could be on the other side (or the other end) of the country next week. In
the past I have been greeted as a libraries in Tameside and in Truro. Great
for getting access to journals you don't subscribe to (if a little
unpredictable) but no good if you want reliable access to journals you do
subscribe to!

(Actually, having said that it's NHS NET that causes the problem, it isn't
really - it's the publishers who insist on using IP addresses, which of
course prevents people accessing the journals from home, or other
workplaces)
