InfusionS, an information skills training organisation based in
Scotland, are offering the following one-day training courses for public
library staff.  

These courses have been designed to meet the continuing professional
development requirements of public library staff, and equip staff with
the kind of advanced skills identified in the "Building the New Library
Network" report. The courses we are providing for public libraries
reflect the Advanced roles described in the report, and were delivered
as part of the NOF Advanced training for public library staff programme
throughout the UK. 

20/12/05: Net Navigator for Public Library staff, Aberdeen, 9.45 - 4.00

26/01/06: Educator for Public Library staff, Aberdeen, 9.45 - 4.00

Feb 06 (date TBC): Information Manager for Public Library staff,
Aberdeen, 9.30 - 4.00

Our trainers have been extensively involved in delivering these
workshops throughout Scotland over the past 4 years as part of the New
Opportunities Funded training scheme for public libraries.
Additional dates and venues for public library training are planned.

Infusions can also deliver sessions in-house using your own training
facilities, or we will can organise training using our own facilities
