Information Officer (Off-Campus)- approx. 28 weeks maternity cover Liverpool John Moores University Scale 4/SO1 (SO2) £16,452 - £24,886 (£27,194) per annum Reference: A1977IN We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join the off- campus team at the Aldham Robarts Learning Resource Centre. The team delivers, promotes, develops and monitors the services offered via the dedicated off-campus gateway to LJMU students and staff working outside the University. You will deal with user enquiries, contribute to the development and marketing of the service and ensure accurate records are maintained, compiling statistics and reports. Qualified to degree or postgraduate level in Librarianship or Information Science, you will have excellent communication and IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, electronic information resources, email and Web browsers. Experience in maintaining and promoting web pages is essential and you must have an interest in developing services to off-campus and other non- traditional service users. The ability to work both on your own and as part of a team is essential. You must have a strong commitment to customer care, with an innovative and pro-active approach to service development.
