OBJECTIVES

The recent Dewey schedules for music involve substantial 
analytico-synthetic (number building) techniques.  This course explores 
the techniques necessary to use the schedules effectively

At the end of the day delegates will

* Be familiar with stucture of the Dewey 780 schedules
* Have examined the wide range of number-building techniques available 
for music materials
* Have practised building number for  real items
* Understand how to navigate through the schedules
* Know where to find further information
