Allegro Training announces a new course in Managing Change. This is an area of present concern in many organizations. This is a one-day course that combines management research with practical application of change management. COURSE PRESENTER This course is presented for Allegro Training by Barabara Chivers. Barbara has a range of experience in the information sector and as a lecturer at the University of Central England. She has worked in school, college and university libraries and in the voluntary sector, where she established an information unit for self help groups. Working in these organizations provided experiences of being part of established teams and opportunities to develop new services and manage change. For several years she has been a lecturer in management and in learning methods and styles. She believes that successful management of change is a combination of effective preparation, management and leadership. She is especially interested in the influence of organizational change on individual perceptions and attitudes to work.
