University of York Library & Archives Subject Assistant (Subject Services Team, J.B. Morrell Library) Vacancy reference: BS05266 You will be enthusiastic, resourceful and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and initiative for supporting high quality research and teaching. You will work closely with Subject Librarians and academic departments to provide a user-focussed information and enquiries service. Responsibilities include liaison, information skills teaching, collection and budget management, writing guides and web pages, with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects. A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable. Experience in HE, FE or research library, ability to organise own work and a positive response to change are essential. Salary within the range: £16,071 - £18,537 per annum.
