With apologies for cross-posting Following the decision by the University of Reading Council to close its Intra-School Section of Music at the end of this academic year, the Music Library, currently housed there, will close at the end of this term. The Music Library will open for the last time on Friday 1 July, from 09:00 to 13:00. During the Summer Vacation, it is planned that, subject to the availability of funds, the majority of Music Library stock will be transferred to the University's Bulmershe Court Library, where it will be integrated with the extensive music collection already held there. We hope to provide a limited service so that Music Library items can still be accessed during the Summer Vacation, but inevitably some items may be unobtainable for a short time whilst being transferred.
