Education for Change Ltd (EfC) is looking for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join its team of consultants, working full-time on a wide range of research, development and project management contracts in areas such as: · E-learning and information and learning technologies (ILT) · Lifelong and community learning · Strategic planning in further and higher education EfC provides research, consulting and evaluation services for educational institutions, government agencies and other organisations in the UK and overseas e.g. the Higher Education Funding Councils and JISC, Ministries of Education, the British Council, the World Bank and the Department for International Development. PERSON SPECIFICATION: We are looking for someone who has · Understanding and experience in delivery, management and/or support of training and learning, preferably in further or higher education · Expertise in using Internet technologies within a learning, community development or cultural context, and / or · using information and communication technology to deliver access to e-content and learning · A reasonable knowledge of structures and recent policy developments in the UK educational sector (the general context, government policies, challenges etc) · Experience of and / or involvement in project management or administration; You will certainly be able to demonstrate several of the following skills and competencies · Energy and determination to meet challenges · Good organisational and analytical skills, and ability to assimilate information quickly · Flexibility to adapt and work in a variety of situations and places, including outside the UK · Very good level of ICT skills · Ability to work with limited supervision · Respect for, and interest in different attitudes, cultures and societies · Ability to work in a team to achieve shared goals · High quality communication skills both written and oral · Language skills in a second language The post will be based at our offices in central London and will have a salary of between £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
