Ths course provides an advanced guide to MARC21 for cataloguers with some experience of the format and will be offered in London on 1 June 2005. WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? This course is intended for cataloguers who have some experience of MARC21. It is very appropriate for delegates who have already attended our MARC21: An Introduction course. COURSE OBJECTIVES At the end of the day delegates will *have reviewed the basic provisison of MARC21 *know how to handle serials using MARC21 *know how to handle mutli-volume items in MARC21ord *have considered how to handle translations, multi-media, digitial and audio materials A Troubleshooting session is included in the day. Delegates are encouraged to contribute items for this session. This course is interactive and learner-centred and is not dependent on any specific proprietary cataloguing system.
