DEVELOPING THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL LIBRARIAN: WORKING WITH SUBJECT TEACHERS. (PART OF THE EFFECTIVE SCHOOL LIBRARIAN SERIES)

This workshop builds on the first two days in the series 'The Effective School Librarian/Library,' by looking at developing the role of the school librarian in supporting teaching staff by researching resources and in teaching situations.

Some pre-course work will help you get the most from the day. Suggestions for post-course work will be made to help you implement what you have learned to continue developing rewarding collaborations with teachers

Caroline Moore is a freelance trainer and consultant as well as a library practitioner.  She delivered the face-to-face training days for our CILIP/NOF ICT learning programme for school librarians and is currently working on the public libraries programme.
