Help 12,000 people improve the environment.

Inspire them with a world of information.

To streamline innovative ways of protecting and improving the environment we need an analytically minded Information Specialist to transform the way we handle published information. The role will involve using your subject expertise and knowledge of information sources and solutions relevant to aspects of the organisation to lead and develop the new Information Specialist team.

Already experienced in influencing customers and bringing in new business, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality, customer focussed service where end-user training, database searching and the ability to develop relationships right across the organisation are key requirements.
We anticipate that you will have at least five years' post qualification information retrieval experience and the skills to lead a small team of experienced information professionals.
Although Bristol based the role involves travel throughout England and Wales to support the 12,000 Agency employees. This is your opportunity to play a major part in the next stage of development for the Information Services Unit.

As well as helping with the cost of relocation, we offer a generous benefits package which includes an excellent pension scheme, 27 days' holiday, flexible working and family friendly policies.
