The successful candidate will be based in the J B Priestley Library where the Law Library will be developed. The post will offer a rare and exciting opportunity to be involved in the creation of a library from the outset and to be able to mould its development. The post holder will need excellent knowledge of the bibliographic apparatus that supports law and will already have substantial experience of working in a law library in a professional role. At least five years' experience will be required for an appointment to ALC 3 grade. Ideally the successful candidate will be an existing member of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians, either as an individual or a corporate member and will be familiar with the Law Society standards for law libraries.
