ISI-ResearchSoft is now known as Thomson ResearchSoft. The Chest Agreement has been extended to 31st December 2010 with the pricing for the 3 years from 1st January 2005 to 31st December 2007 now having been agreed and available on the Eduserv Chest web pages <http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/software/isi-researchsoft/> for people at sites with a .ac.uk address. If you are unable to access the pages please contact the Chest Helpdesk <mailto:[log in to unmask]>

Thomson ResearchSoft Inc produces a range of popular bibliographic management software programs. The Chest Agreement covers EndNote, ProCite, Reference Manager (all desktop products) and WriteNote (web-based) which are research and writing tools for students to find and organise references, create bibliographies and write essays, assignments and dissertations. The Agreement now includes RefViz, a data visualization and analysis tool designed to help researchers evaluate references easily, plan future projects and publish their work. It analyzes large numbers of references by thematic content and presents an at-a-glance overview of the main topics discussed in the reference set.

Sites wishing to subscribe should complete the relevant forms and return them to Stephanie Marshall at Adept Scientific, not to Chest. All the information about the Agreement is on the Chest web pages and additional information is available from Stephanie <mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Eligible sites are UK HE (including Research Councils), and FE, third level colleges in the Republic of Ireland, and selected Chest Associated Sites.

d)  UKSG Conference Luncheon
-----------------------------

The following message is sent on behalf of the American Psychological Association. Chest currently has two very popular Agreements with the APA for their PsycINFO <http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/psycinfo/> and
PsycARTICLES <http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/psycarticles/> services.

Dear Colleagues,

If you plan to attend the Annual UKSG Conference 2005 in Edinburgh this April, I would like to invite you to be a guest of the American Psychological Association for a luncheon discussion on the PsycINFO databases. This is the first time we have been able to attend UKSG and we're eager to meet with librarians. You may face different issues to your colleagues in the U.S., and we're very interested in hearing about them.

The PsycINFO User Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 13th from 12:45 to 14:30. Seats are limited for this event. Please make your reservation by visiting the Eduserv Chest web site at

<http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/psycinfo/uksg_form.html>

Once you send your reservation for the lunch meeting, we will provide details on the meeting location and the programme agenda.

I am grateful to the Chest staff, who have worked diligently with us to make this event a success. I look forward to
meeting you in April at UKSG.

Cordially,
