Dear Colleague, There are still a few places available on the following Netskills workshops running at Manchester University in March: 1. Web Pages From Scratch (March 8th) Introducing the basic concepts of web authoring with XHTML as well as investigating the use of authoring software tools and web design issues. 2. Information Skills: Is Google Enough? (March 9th) Learn how to make the most of Google, and a range of other information sources in order to find quality information quickly and effectively. 3. Detecting and Deterring Plagiarism (March 10th) This practical workshop explores the impact of the web on plagiarism in education, and enables attendees to examine methods of deterring and detecting it.
