USING THE IESR: WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Institute for Historical Research, London

12 January 2005

The Information Environment Service Registry team are holding an event in
London on 12 January 2005 for people who are interested in using the IESR,
or who would like to find out more about what the Registry is all about.
Speakers from MIMAS and UKOLN will be joined by representatives from JISC,
portal projects and library management systems suppliers, who will give an
overview of activity in this area and explain how the IESR's information is
being or will be used in a variety of services. There will also be an
opportunity for participants to submit any particular requirements that they
have for the IESR's future development. Attendance at the event is free of
charge. Further information, a programme and a booking form are available
from UKOLN's website at www.ukoln.ac.uk/events/iesr/.
