1. DSTL and TFPL Symposium - "Intelligence for the adaptive enterprise"

This new symposium will explore the wider applicability of some of the
innovative knowledge and intelligence tools and techniques being used by
military, defence and other leading edge organisations. Key themes will
include horizon scanning, managing valuable knowledge assets, building
intelligence from fragments and analysis and visualisation. Speakers will
introduce ideas and share experience - the delegates will be invited to
debate the potential applications and opportunities.

Intelligence for the adaptive enterprise, which is a collaborative venture
between Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) and TFPL, takes
place on Tuesday 11th October 2005 at the Natural History Museum in London.

2. "Information Governance"

A highly interactive workshop that will provide an information governance
framework and plan to support the success of intranets, content management
systems, portals and enterprise information architecture. The workshop will
be led by Mary Lee Kennedy formerly the Director of Knowledge Networking at
Microsoft and now working as a TFPL Senior Advisor will take place on Monday
26 September 2005 at the TFPL Training Suite.

3. "Building capability in the Conductive Organization" 

Organizational performance has come to depend on a higher capacity for
collaboration, learning and innovation in order to cope with a fast changing
environment. More than ever, the effective development and harnessing of
capability is the precursor to acceding to higher levels of performance. It
is in this context that building an effective knowledge platform becomes a
strategic initiative. Led by Hubert Saint-Onge one of the worlds leading
knowledge practitioners this event will take place on 7 October 2005 at
Central City Training Venues, London.
