This is a preliminary notice of a workshop Prof. Dorothy Williams and I are planning to look at the results of a recent study examining secondary school teachers' conceptions of information literacy in relation to their classroom practice. The workshop is open to interested practitioners and researchers and will be held at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, in November/December (date to be confirmed); numbers will be limited. During the day, we will report on the research and provide participants with the opportunity to explore strategies for developing information literacy.
