Has anybody else read the following paper and have any comments about it?
- I hold it up not only as an example of how not to do a literature review
(somewhat ironic given the subject) but because it seems to empitomise
the divisions between professionals who work in the field of information
literacy and health. For example, there isn't a single paper from the Bulletin of
the Medical Library Association

I quote "The selected time period 1995-2001 can be critized for several
reasons. However before 1995 the information literacy concept was most
frequently used by librarians. Advances in hospital information systems and
the use of electronic patient records have made the concept important for
health care professionals" !

Information literacy - what is it about? Literature review of the concept and
the context. Saranto K, Hovenga EJS. International Journal of Medical
Informatics 2004 volume 73 p.503-513
