Dear Lesley and Lis-E-Journals readers,

I can answer the first part of the question immediately: we plan to
migrate all of the Triangle content and customers ready for 2006 and
will keep customers posted as to progress. In the meantime, access
issues for the remainder of 2005 are continuing to be dealt with by
Triangle, and hosted on the Triangle website at www.triangle.co.uk/ :

For current T&F customers, all queries for the T&F online editions will
continue to be dealt with by our customer service department at

I'm looking into the Dekker website issue and will get back to you all.

Hi,

Further to Louise's comments I wondered whether we could have
clarification
on whether all full text content currently available at Triangle
Journals
Ltd's site at: http://www.triangle.co.uk/ will be on MetaPress from the
beginning of 2006 alongside the new 2006 content?

I ask this question in light of our experiences with Dekker journals
where
2006 content was only published on MetaPress with the pre-2005 content
being
transferred across from MetaPress over a long period, a process which I
understand is still not fully completed. It didn't help that the
redirect
from each journal on the old Dekker site at: e.g.
http://www.dekker.com/servlet/product/productid/ADA for The American
Journal
of Drug and Alcohol Abuse only takes one to the main T&F MetaPress site
rather than to the specific journal itself, which hasn't been very
helpful
for users trying to locate content that hasn't yet made it across to the
MetaPress site.

Cheers
Lesley

Thanks for raising that issue Louise - I apologise for omitting it from
the
main announcement.

We have no plans to change the backfile access policy for the Triangle
journals but we will monitor the situation and review it at the end of
2006.

Do let me know if you have any further questions.

Although this is interesting news, perhaps T&F could confirm if they
intend
to continue the practice of making Triangle titles freely available
after a
year (or to honour this on the backfile of the titles they take over)?

Thanks
Louise
