Taylor & Francis Group is to embark on a project to digitise its backfile
collections back to Volume 1 Issue 1 by key subject area.

Journals falling under the company's 3 imprints; Taylor & Francis,
Routledge and Psychology Press, will be digitised and released over the
coming months in a bid to allow libraries to strengthen their collections
of scholarly information available to their researchers, whilst saving
valuable shelf space in the library.

Introducing the first subject archives to become available:

Education Archive
Your library now has the opportunity to enable access to the complete
collection of Education articles, from the world's leading Education
publisher, from less than one third of a pence per page. The collection
includes access to 113 titles and over 1.1 million pages, and compliments
the existing availability of approximately 52,000 Education online
articles.

Business, Management & Economics Archive
From less than half a pence per page, your library can add to the
currently available 15,000 articles in Business, Management and Economics
by purchasing the archive of 45 titles and 250,000 pages. All articles
include full cross-searching capability, article abstracts and references.

Flexible purchasing options are available to suit every budget that allow
for a one time purchase with annual maintenance fee or small annual
subscription.
We appreciate the concern of perpetual access rights, therefore should
your library wish to purchase an archive by annual subscription, and the
spend on the archive reaches 125% of the outright purchase cost for that
year, your library will automatically have purchased the collection at the
one-time fee and only the small annual maintenance charge will be due for
future years.

Current print plus online or online only subscriptions will continue to
include online access back to 1997 where available. In the event of
cancellation perpetual access will be granted to any volume where a fully
paid subscription was held.

Christoph Chesher, Group Sales Director, Taylor & Francis Group says, "T&F
remains focused on the widest dissemination of key content to scholars and
researchers worldwide. The development of online archives demonstrates
T&F's commitment to digital academic publishing and perfectly compliments
our growing portfolio of over 370,000 articles from 1050 ejournals and
catalogue of 12,000 ebooks".

Online archives will continue to be released during the coming months.
The next backfile due to be digitised will cover Physics, Chemistry and
Materials Science.
