Hello All,

I've just spoken to the Qualifications department to check the status of my submission. I got a slightly alarming letter yesterday to say CILIP had no record of my submission and so would transfer me to the new 2005 Regs. Just in case anyone else is in the same situation - letters have been sent to people who have already submitted so don't panic and think it's been accidentally shredded!

The lady I spoke to (possibly Marion!) confirmed by report was out for assessment at the moment but couldn't say which meeting it would be considered at. So, I'd say, if you're ready to submit just go for it!

Thank you Ruth.  This is very useful.  It would have been helpful if CILIP had perhaps pointed me to this in the first place!

Claire.

Claire, Kate et al

The chartership board dates (along with all other major CILIP meetings) are available from the website:

http://www.cilip.org.uk/aboutcilip/howcilipworks/structure/diary/

But to find out when to submit in time for a board meeting I would also advise contacting CILIP.

Dear Kate, all

I emailed CILIP on this very subject (next Board meetings) this week.  They told me that there are Board meetings in April, June and September this year.  You might want to contact CILIP to ask when to submit in time to catch a board meeting.  Hope this helps.  Good luck finishing your chartership

Does anyone know when the next chartership board is.  When would a
submission need to be sent by?  I'm almost done and I think it would help
me to have a deadline to have to work to!

        Thanks,
