Just a quick plug, the schema for the GlueService object/table has a UniqueID for every service (as eventually for every other Glue object) which is supposed to be a pure opaque ID - it will typically be contructed using DNS names to ensure uniqueness, but if admins get it right it should be possible to preserve it even if the service moves to a different host. Incidentally, when you say LFC do you mean that atlas has decided to use LFC rather than fireman, or was that just a generic term? Stephen
