Hello, since the begining of the various grid projects in HEP we have seen lot of duplicate efforts worldwide to create useful tools. Instead of unify our efforts people begin tools that they need and it can happen in more than one place, but it is absolutely normal cause we don't have a place to announce our current work in progress. The result of that is the loose of manpower and time. To begin to solve this problem we have set up on the GOC WIKI pages a section called Work In Progress. Here is the link : http:// goc.grid.sinica.edu.tw/gocwiki/WorkInProgress It is link directly on the main menu of the wiki. People should announce there work in progress to permit to other people who wanna begin a tools to check if someone is working on something similar and to be sure that if someone plan to do it in the future this person can contact you to unify the effort. We have prefer a Wiki page on the Goc wiki begin it is simple and accessible by all people in LCG/Glite/... projects. Any feedback comment proposition and AOB are welcome and appreciate.
