The Central Mediterranean Prehistory Workshop will take place at the Manchester Museum, Oxford Road, Manchester, on Wednesday 2nd November 2005 from 10.30am - 5.00pm. There will be a display of posters on recent research and overview talks by invited speakers, including Professor Ruth Whitehouse (UCL), Dr. Mark Pearce (Nottingham) and Dr. Robin Skeates (Durham). The fee for the meeting will be £10, payable in cash on the day. This includes a buffet lunch and a reception at the end of the meeting. Please let us know if you intend to come to the meeting as numbers are needed by the caterers. Poster size - width maximum of 100cm, length maximum of 150 cm. Poster presenters are asked to bring an A4 handout of their posters to the meeting. Please let us know if you intend to present a poster - new research by postgrads and postdocs especially welcome. Getting to the Manchester Museum - please visit the website www.museum.man.ac.uk for directions. Manchester has good air, rail and road connections, but parking is, as with all cities, difficult to find. Don't forget to bring an umbrella. Any further information, please contact Keri Brown.
