Digitising Team Leader - Wiltshire - 1 year + - £10-14 per hour - Immed start My client is urgently seeking a MapInfo Digitising Technician / Supervisor to join their team. The client is looking to convert existing hard copy maps into geo-referenced electronic format with electronic links to attribute data. The selected candidate will initially work on their own, then with the assistance of a small team which they will supervise. You will be required to; Identify maps in Development Control, develop an existing procedure for digitising, produce written documentation and an audit trail, ongoing digitising of DC maps, identify the best storage location within the clients infrastructure and develop a retention policy for hard copy maps post digitisation. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience of digitising and have used MapInfo Professional v6.0+ or Axis v10 for this purpose. Any experience of Land Charges, Planning, Land terrier, Highways or similar Legal maps would prove an advantage.
