Field Engineer-GIS/AutoDesk -to £24,000

Bedfordshire-(Suit a Second Jobber)

 

The position is permanent and will be based as stated above.

 

What does the job entail?

Sometimes in the office, plenty of time working outdoors.  You'll be undertaking field surveys and collecting data for a fast growing sports surface and undersoil consultancy.  You'll maintain various databases and help to maintain the company website.

 

What experience do I need to possess?

Some knowledge of ESRI GIS products, some experience of AutoDesk GIS products or AutoCAD.  Practical knowledge of how field data is gathered, collated, analysed and compiled into a business decision support system.  Experience of Microsoft Office technology, in particular Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

 

Experience of survey techniques and GPS/DGPS technologies.
