GIS Technician - £15-25ph Dependant On Experience - Contract to Perm option - Thames Valley My client is looking for a GIS Technician to assist with the production of geological and geophysical maps within a GIS Environment. The role will involve data capture and taking that data through to the mapping stages. You will also be required to carry out other related work such as digitising and report assembly. You will be required to have a formal qualification in GIS or experience in the Geological-mapping field. 2 Years experience in either an Oil and Gas or Exploration industry is a minimum requirement. Experience using ArcView 8.3/v9 is essential and any exposure to AutoCAD would prove to be an advantage but not essential.
