GIS/Land & Property Technical Support Analyst - ongoing contract- £ Neg - Cambs - Dec Start. My Client are currently looking to appoint a Technical Support Analyst (GIS/Land and Property) to join their team. The selected candidate will act as a single point of contact and technical support analyst for Support Service customers. You will be required to determine scope of technical faults and analyse issues seeking clear resolution with suppliers; Review systems documentation, including Requirements Specifications and Interface definition documents, if appropriate for fault resolution.· Previous experience in software specification/development. Experience of software used within UK Local Government and/or GIS-related software is particularly beneficial. · Thorough understanding of the technical aspects of a project/programme in relation to a contract and sub-contract, plan of work, budget, operational implementation and managed service. · Experience in a consultative change management environment, specifically in relation to workflow process automation would be an advantage. · Experience or knowledge in the UK Local Government or public sector IT environment is preferred. · Experience of data conversion and data translation. · Knowledge of, managed services, local government IT, and e-government agenda.
